Essential for trip coordination and updates
We're asking everyone to bring two bottles of liquor: one for the yacht excursion and one for yourself. This ensures we're well-stocked for our private yacht day and you have your preferred spirits for the trip!
Duty-Free Recommendation: If you choose to buy duty-free liquor, we recommend purchasing at your American departure airport rather than in Cartagena. American duty-free shops typically have better selection and prices.
Yes, you should bring at least $500 in US Dollars to cover various activities, tips, and small purchases.
No, it is highly recommended that you exchange your US Dollars for Colombian Pesos. DO NOT exchange your currency at the airport as you will receive a poor exchange rate. We have a concierge who can arrange for a currency exchange service to come to the villa and provide a much better rate. It's always best to exchange your currency locally.
In many cases, we will be traveling as a group, so a van will be available for transportation. For other trips, Uber and taxis are readily available and widely used. Uber may often be more cost-effective than taxi cabs.
